miata seats

does anyone know if the seats from a 93 miata will fit a 88 mazda rx7?
 
 

I'm not quite sure about the size. Although the feet have not been trimmed down or the seat  fastened in, just sitting the Miata seat in the car makes me believe this is worth trying.
