Media button on Bose stereo does not seem to work

    I just bought a new Mazda Speed3 with the Bose stereo..I'm trying to hook up my IPOD to the aux jack but when I hit the "media" button on the stereo, nothing happens..I've hooked it up right, but still does not work..

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated..
