I have a 2001 Tribute and lately when I'm driving it feels as if it wants to turn off... I really don't have the funds to take it in although I know I need to I would just like to get an idea of what might be wrong before I go in. Has anyone had this problem??? The problem occurs most when its been idling eg. red light, drive thru and scariest in traffic...

If it is only at idle it may be you idle control valve, this is very common on the V6 engines...deja vu
