I am going to put 1157a Silver Stars in the front and was wondering if the bulb holders pull or twist out of the headlight housing. Figured I had better ask since I almost can't get my hand in there and I really don't want to break something

They twist out, but be on the look out for sharp plastic.  I've scrapped the back of my hands plenty of times on the underside of the rad support.  Finally I filed and sanded it down so that wouldn't happen.  The top, what you can see is smooth, but they took much less care in what you can't/don't see.

That's right!  Mazda put a biting python in every car just so ppl will have to go back tot he dealer to have their bulbs changed.  Besides, Mazda doesn't like Sylvania Silver Stars.   Be VERY careful.

Pay no mind, Siber.  We're all a little CrAzY here.  You'll get used to it.

I may not be a Ford kinda' guy, but I am a car guy.  And as a car guy I can safely say that... I LIKE THAT!!!  Nice lookin' truck, and I am from (living in) Texas so I know something about pick ups!!!  Very Nice, Siber

BTW: And not to post-whore here, but I do like the last gen Ford's/Chev's/Dodge's much, MUCH better than the current lot.  They simply look cleaner.  All the Am pick ups today seem to be trying to out do themselves in Macho-ness.  I blame this on the Dodge Ram BTW. I ain't that crazy about the current movement, and the way they seem to be getting overgrown front ends.  They are the equivalent in trucks as funny cars are to family sedan's.
Whatever happened to making them cut the wind (and be a little more efficient) a little better?

well considering im a hick and most people i know own trucks. i know a few things myself about trucks. in fact a friend of mine has a 3500 Dodge Ram single cab. the thing is a monster. but this looks nice. actually if i were to get a truck. id get a mini truck (s-10, sonoma, colorado, canyon, B2200 (older body style say 92) orr a ford ranger. that would be cool getting one of those lowered and makin it look gooooood. thats something id like to do one day...
