My son is looking at an ''03 "6'', 4cyl, auto with 80,000 miles. My questions are what to look out for when we go look at this car. Are there any common problems with this year of "6". I''m new to Mazdas, so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I bought an 03 6 4cyl manual when they came out and have only had one minor problem with it. One headlight will die on my every year or so. Other than that, haven''t had any problems at all.

I bought my 2003 Mazda 6i about a year ago a few weeks after my 16th birthday and it has been great. I had to replace some lights but thats it. MPG is ok about 22-23 for me with mostly city driving. It''s performance is good for a 4cyl but no rocket ship. I recomend it

No real Glaring problems that I can think of off hand. Just besure to give the car a thurough going over (as you would do with any used car), and be sure to drive it as you normally would on the test drive.

I bought my 03 6 a little over a month ago with 48k on it. It''s a pleasure to drive. I''ve got no major problems, just trying to figure out a rattle that is intermittent at speeds greater than 60mph. It''s coming from the underneath of the vehicle but I can''t get a handle on what it is.
