Hello,

I am brand new to this board, so if this post is old or in the wrong place, feel free to blast it.

I recently purchased a tail light off of eBay for my 99 Millenia, and (bad on me) I really didn't look at the pictures but I received it and the top section on my current light is clear, while this one is amber. (picture)

The auction advertised this piece as "1995-2000 millenia tail light"

Am I warranted in getting my money back because it was wrongly advertised?? It doesn't fit mine (clear vs amber) so I am thinking something is wrong here.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance

MM

You should be able to contact the seller directly and IF that doesn't work, then you should contact Ebay.  If the seller is credible, and they usually are, then they should deal with you fairly, especially based on their incorrect ad.

If it was advertised differently from what it should have been advertised as, then you have a valid argument; however, if the seller had a pix there and you still purchased it, then you may not have a valid argument.  It was incumbent upon you to contact the seller for clarification.  However, there is no harm in contacting the seller directly to ask if he would be willing to refund your payment or ask whether they have the one you need.

Thanks for the posts.
I contacted a dealer and they can't go off the light itself because there isn't a box (???)
Does anyone know what this light is? (years wise)
Why is mine red and clear and this is red and amber?

Thanks in advance.

because All 99 my millenias had clear tails and fronts.  i think this was the only year.  if you check out ebay, other millenia owners are always trying to get the lites off the 99 my cars, you will notice that the pricing for them are always much higher than the others because of the demand.  you are also buying from places that probably have only seen a couple of millenias ever.

Oh, thanks for the reply.
So the 1999 is different with the clear lights??
Therefore 1995-2000 is inaccurate because 1999 is clear??

thanks
