Can't drive a motorcycle. When driving the rig you can't push the clutch all the way in. That will engage, what we call, the clutch brake. The clutch brake is designed to slow/stop the flywheel from spinning when switching to reverse. However, if you are driving light, you can skip some gears. Drivers try to shift around 1200 to 1500 rpm range. Remember, these diesals redline at 3500 to 4000 rpm. But, in traffic it's a bitch. I don't drive professionaly. Tried it, but did not like it. Still, work at a truck dealership. Trucks come with autoboxes now. That's a whole different forum. One last piece of advice. Don't sit too close behind the truck on the hill. If he rolls back and squashes you, he probably did not feel it.
especially Ontario Truck Drivers. have you seen them. they are the worst on the road ever. they cut me off on the 401 or jones baseline or highway seven or any damn road i take. they are the wooooorst

Not to drag this on as off topic (as I tend to do) Just try giving the driver respect. If I feel like driving slow, or the speed limit. I stay 6 seconds off their rear. If they pass you on the left, and when their trailer is well beyond your car.....flash them to let them know they are ahead of you so they can come back over. You will see, they will flash their trailer lights to say thank you. Don't compete with their size. If they squash you, you will most likely be dead, and he will have to work in a factory. They are going to start regulating their speed limits to 105 kph in Ontario soon anyway. They are not happy about it. But John Q Voter wants it this way. A truck doing 125 kph makes cars want to drive 145 kph. Cause 90 % of us do not want to be behind a truck. I am all for it. How stupid are we going to look doing 145 when trucks are doing 105. We will really be noticed when we are speeding. And you, as an Ontarion knows what happens then. Lots of forum time.

haha soo many damn laws this year.. that truck law coming soon and the street racing law and a few others. its crazy. caught over 50 get your car impounded. friiiig. as for trucks. thats a great thing they can only go 105. yet i will admit on the 401 i do maybe 110-120 nothing over unless passing a truck and even then not much faster. but oh my god do i love that 2 or more people lane. it is the greatest thing. as your passing by a bunch of people :D. bahhh ontario sucks now. you cant drive anywhere anymore without doing something wrong honestly. its getting realllly retarded

Honestly, too many people dyin. That's not the sad part really. The small evil in me gets mad when the 401 is shut down, cause someone could not handle it and now they have to sweep them up. Look at all the car/truck accidents lately?

yea i know. luckily i was coming home from missisauga and they just cleaned up the accident... unbelivable all the accidents on that road
