ipod kit

Hi. Just wondering if anyone has tried this ipod integration kit which works with the standard Mazda 5 multichanger. Im thinking of buying it.

Our dealer fitted one to our 2.0 Sport. After three visits and several attempts to get it to work, Mazdu UK confirmed that it was not compatible with the standard 6 disc set-up. They removed it and refunded the money. I notice that the accessories page on the Mazda website does not mention this.

Simon, just to clarify, did you have the official Mazda ipod kit fitted, or the 3rd party pegasus version which claims to work with the CD changer?

I though that the whole point of iPod integration was that it uses the changer socket on the modular unit  - hence no changer.
 
I have the cassette module in my 2 - but that leaves the changer socket free so I can have iPod and cassette togehter with radio and single CD. AFAIK, the 5 is the same.

It was the official Mazda kit.
