ipod in mazda 3 2006 5 Door

Does anyone know if it's possible to by pass the 6 disk cd player in the mazda 3 2006 5 Door, and put an ipod in instead?

Do you mean that you want to disable your 6 disc changer entirely?  You can buy an IPod adapter for your car and still retain all radio functions. 

Do you guys know if the iPod integration kit allows you to view album/artist/track (etc.) info from the iPod on the car's dash display?  Thanks in advance.

there are a few ipod interface for mazda if you use the cd changer ort of the radio there is no text option
if there is sat controls on the radio you will see text from the ipod

The best thing to do in my mind is just to get an adapter I have an 2003 mazda 6 and all i have to do is plug it into the 12v output in the center console and tune my radio to the correct station i only get interferince when my cell phone goes off or im under a lot of power lines
