alright everyone, i just found out the other day that my passenger side door in the front is missing the plastic clear cover that goes over the light.
i was installing components in my door panels and one of the steps was to remove the cover because there is 1 of 3 total screws in it in order to remove the whole door panel. well, low a behold, i coulda sworn i put it back but it must've been loose and now its all of a sudden gone. vanished. poof. my gf probably slammed the door too hard and it might of feel off.
bottom line is i know it isn't necessary, but i would love to replace that little dinky p.o.s. part for it shouldnt have been missing in the first place... anyone know where to purchase one? price i should be expecting? and does anyone know the actual name of this part? i'm aware of the dealer but i would like to avoid them as much as possible because i would like to keep my arm and leg this time around...

Might be tough to find that one aftermarket but hey, you never know. MSRP for right front door light lens is only $5.35 and $4.28 + shipping from
www.onlinemazdaparts.com. Use OE # GK2E-68-4G1A for this route.

The passenger door light was loose from the day I bought my car, after having it fall off atleats a dozen times I superglued it back in. Any one else had this problem?

I had the same thing happen during the 1st week I owned my car ('04 6s). To this day, I have to keep an eye on the cover to make sure it hasn't fallen off.
