in MAzda6 - does it charge the ipod?

Hi guyz,
i heard that in the mazda6, there is a feature for the ipods that it charges while playing..is that true (through the earphone hole)?
 
 
(Using 3.5mm audio input jack, called the ACI (Auxiliary Console Input) by Mazda)
