I won the 1st ever time atack at moroso motorsports park

this was their first ever time attack event(they will be doing 1 ever month from now on)

at the start of the day there were 4 cars(1 spec miata,1 BUILT 3rd Gen RX7, 1 not stock NSX, me(mazdaspeed3)

at the end of the day only 2 were left standing(RX7 lost his brakes/mastercylinder@the end of the 1st straight and put it into the wall, not pretty, his car was finished for the day(only cosmetic damage) and the miata left for personal reasons.

this left the NSX and myself, we ran a set of 6 hotlaps to get an idea of our differences and i literally hung with him the whole time(except the straight and out of the corners).......so we decided a 1 second handicap was adequate to "make us even"......this being MY FIRST TIME EVER ON A ROAD COURSE and he being fairly novicy as well.

I ran a 1:50:01 and he ran a 1:49:53(so my handicap put me ahead by almost a half second)......and to gauge these times the spec miatas that were running 1 hour sessions between our super solo sessions were running 1:47:02
