ok so i saw this body kit online wen i was searchin and it was a pretty damn nice body kit trouble was the year it was designed for was 04 NOT 05 and the 05 is mine so i was wondering if the year it was made for would make a difference or not? heres the site

I'm personally not a big fan of the open-mouthed look, but hey, this kit looks pretty good, imo. Not too gawdy or overstated. I like it!!
Again, I am not an expert, but I am unaware that they changed anything in/on the 6 between 04 and 05, or even 06 for that matter. All the rest on the page say 03-07. Perhaps they just never updated the listing.
I don't see why it wouldn't fit.

It will fit just fine. All change between model years were contained to the front/rear fascias. The hood/trunk/fender lines are identical.

I only know that they made a change from the 05-06 models since they are making new lips that only fit on the 06+ and not the previous year models.

The grille opening changed between 05/06. The lines along the fenders, headlights, rear quarters, taillights and trunk are all the same.

It would work, just maybe not with your stock grille, but the later model grille should work on your car with that kit.
