I am having a difficult time trying to find a cold air intake (and other perf parts) for my 2000 protege I was wondering if the 1.8 is the same fit If anyone knows of any site where I can find 1.6 parts It would be greatly appreciated

The 1.6L Protege is difficult to find parts for. 1.8 and 2.0L are not the same.
I do sell performance parts for the 1.6 although there's very little demand.
I just got in a shipment this week of SRIs for the 1.6 but I am out of CAIs. I sold the last one a week ago.
Same with the header. I will get more in, eventually.

If you are interested in an SRI, let me know because they don't last very long. I am just about the only source in North America
for intakes for the 1.6L.

I attached a pic.

I rep for a company called Simota Racing Sports.
They are huge in Asia but I am one of only a few reps in North America, and I've been with them for about a year.
The price is $60 plus $15 shipping to the lower 48.

Let me know if you are interested. I am a new sponsor on this forum and these just came in so I'll be updating my Sponsorship section over the weekend.

I am highly Interested but I live In Winnipeg Manitoba Canada How much for the header, and do you know HP gain? Thanx oh yeah I checked Simota's site If I were to get one do I get to choose the coulor I have red engine Accents so I think the red intake would look sweet If you only have chrome that's fine.

Intake: Polished finish only. Gain for an SRI, realistically, 2-4 whp.

Header is usually $285 shipped, but I don't have them in stock.

I can do the $15 shipped to most of Canada for the intake, I just need your postal code to verify. I'll check on Monday when I am back at work.

I have SRIs in stock for the 1.6L, but I'm sold out of CAIs and probably won't carry them any more, there is just really no demand out there for them.
Anyway, SRI is $65 + shipping.
