Front left noise

I have a 2000 Millenia and it started making a noise in front left when I turn to the left at slow speeds.  Just last night I could also hear it while driving down the road at about 35-45 mph.  It sounds like gears not meshing right. Does anyone know what this is?  I only have 79k on this car, so would there be any warranty left?

cv joint.  both our cars needed them at about 60k.   you might have to pull off the wheel to see, but most likely there is grease all over the inside of the wheel, and all over the suspension on that side.  the boot has split, and all the grease has come out.  you can get reman ones for about 50 bucks, takes about 2 hours max.  easy to do, but you need the right tools.
