Door lock

My driver side door lock is broken. I have to unlock car from other side.What is that part called? Is it easy to replace. I have a 97 S.

So does anyone know what the part is that I need?

i have a ''95 and the clip on the end of the linkage just came open that snaps into the locking mechanism.  That is not very helpful i know, but pull the inside pannel off and see if there is anything simple like that.
