I have a 2002 Mazda Millenia (2.5 engine)
I was having problem with my car getting hot last month so after asking a few people i concluded it was the thermostat. After looking under the hood for a while i noticed i needed about a quart of antifreeze. I had a galon labeled 50/50 antifreeze in my garage (it was actually filled with diesel fuel but my dad never cared to tell me). I poured it in the radiator about a quart of diesel without knowing. I drove my car for about 2,000 miles until i decided to replace my thermostat. Today after I replaced the thermostat I started pouring the diesel fuel again from that same gallon and all the sudden my dad tells me to stop because it was diesel fuel. This time I poured about 1/2 a quart, I was so upset once he told me that. I decide to right away drain the raditator.
My question is: Did this cause permanent damage or will it later on? Also what do you recomend doing now to have the system back to normal?
Thank you

Go and get a professional cooling system flush ASAP at a good shop. Diesel fuel will chew away at anything rubber, including water pump seals and all of the cooling hoses very quickly. The sooner you can get it out the better. Let them know what happened as well so that an additive can be added to help and disolve the contaminate along with the flush. Draining the radiator is only going to remove a small part of the problem and then whole system needs to be purged quickly!!!!
