ok so i pulled up next to this dude in his saab on a stop light on my way home today, the road was pretty empty. I looked at him and he looked at me he pulled off the line pretty hard and i pulled off pretty late since i can never get 1st gear right, to top it off i shifted early from 1st thinking i would over rev. After that i was shifting perfect at 6 grand i shifted each gear and i don't know what happend but it seemed that i was catching up to him and catching up pretty dam quick after 70 i cought up and we were side by side. i think it was a saab 9-3 it had HID's. We both had HID's so i guess he knew that a base model mazda doesn't come with HID's; he decided to pick a race. I thought i'd loose with at least 3 car lenghts but then again i drive a manual and his car is a lot bigger than mine is and i have the Type R sticker on my car so i got like extra 50hp..no im jking, the only sticker i have is the zoom zoom sticker and thats under the hood.

i got something better. on thursday i was driving with the girlfriend and we pull up to a set of lights. and some guy in a little riced out crappalier pulls up beside me and he revvs his engine. as do i. anyway light turns green and im off.. the crappalier is no where to be in sighht. look back HE STALLED AT THE LIGHTS LMFAO. oh my god i never laughed harder in my life. and as i go to turn off i honk at him and he gives me the finger. ahhhhhh good day that was.

ah, you are right. it's just that any other car forum i have been on street racing talk was banned and not to be spoken of.

yea other forums don't allow it...i don't blame them. I didn't beet it but we were side by side; no1 won but if the saab was manual or if the guy knew how to drive it i guess then he would have been ahead of me, btw the fujita sounded sick!!

i find it more entertaining to rev my engine at the light if someone challenges me... when the light goes green i just put my hand out the window and wave while staying in my spot as they shoot off looking like a moron!
always found that entertaining...

i smoked a mustang with my 1988 323 hatchback! all stock stuff!! at a stoplight, it was funny
