Hey, guys.  I'm new here and I just wanted to drop a quick question.  I found this eBay store that has killer prices on these wheels.  Most of them are a brand called ADR.  I've never heard of the brand.  Does anyone know anything about these?  Here's a link if you want to see the wheels I'm talking about.

The prices are crazy low, but I want to make sure that I'm getting something decent.  I am not looking to buy a super lightweight wheel or anything.  I just want a cheap deal on some nice looking wheels.

I've looked at those too and actually know little about them.  One woman in our club has the Cyphers in bronze on her sedan and they look OK.  I was looking at the same in the gray color.
What I know about ADR's: 1. I wrote one of those sellers about the weight (a concern of mine) and after several repeated requests was finally told that they weigh in @ "approx." 20lbs ea.. 2. The woman I mentioned above had an accident that took out one of her wheels and she claimed that it took forever to get a replacement for it.
Those two things are what I know for sure.

I can make some pretty good guesses about a few things though:
1. They are made of low-pressure casting/low grade alloy, causing them to be as heavy as they are for strength.  And 2. They are no-doubt made in some third world country using VERY cheap or "slave" labor. 3. Looking at many of their designs (styles) they would be hard to clean and keep clean. 4. Lastly, I'm sure the finish will not withstand everyday riggers for too long before chips and bubbles begin to form and eventually destroy the wheel.

Sometimes you get what you pay for and in this case my feeling is that you would end up replacing them in fairly short order, not making them a very good (long-term) deal.
Just my .02.
