Brake noise

I usually notice this in the morning when I leave for work.
 
I get in, start car, apply foot brake and it sounds like
I hear the linkage connecting  and moving.
 
After a few miles and coming to a stopsign sometimes
you can hear the same thing.
 
Like a small "clink" if you will, while applying pressure.
 
Any ideas? 

My brake pedal does a squeeking sound once in a while.  I'm gonna take it to the dealer to see what the problem is.
