I have a 1996 Mazda Millenia S and the cd player isn't working but the radio and tape player do. When i hit the CD button on the Bose system it reads ... No Disc.. and nothing plays. However there are 6 discs in the Panasonic changer in the truck. I tried hitting the eject button to release the cd cartridge and it won't open nor does it make any noise (dosen't sound as though power is getting to the device). My questions are these

1. Is there a seperate fuse that is within the panasonic 6 disc cd changer that could be out?
2. Can I simply find the same panasonic player off of ebay and plug it in to the existing wiring without having to reprogram anything?

Any/advice recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

I am having the same problem with 1995 S, "No Disc" but can hear it checking and am able to eject so not a basic power problem.
I would like to know also if one can be simple bought on eBay and will it fit right in?
Will continue watching this post.
Thanks...

you can only get the changer from mazda. the one from panasonic has a different connector. i had both, took the non apart, but there is no way to switch connectors. i upgraded both cars(we have 2 99's) to the unit with the in dash 6 cd changer. lots easier to load, and the changer works a lot better. they are not easy to find, especially bose.

That did it, ran out to the car and turned the cd face down and it worked.
Thanks for that, I had no idea.
