DTC B2BCD Airbad SRS
2013 Mazda 3 2.0L S.
DTC B2BCD - Fixed code by seating shorting clips on connectors (my car with 3 individual connectors, each with one shorting each) to SRS module (located center console under cup holder) by using small flat screwdriver and pushing on back of shorting clip.... how much of a push? Got samples from junkyard by cutting them off to learn how much to push and looking at contacts moving up and gage force to apply and prevent damage to shorting clips and connector plastic....
1 - Disconnect negative post. 2 - locate SRS Module. 3 - disconnect connectors. 4 - push shorting clips. 5 - plug connectors to SRS module. 6 - attach negative batt post. 7 - start engine and watch airbag dash light reset... no need to go clear code at dealer/mechanic
This should apply to any B2BCD Mazda vehicle, any model year.
