Hiya,

Bout a month ago, my tribute's front driver's side blinker started blinking fast. After my wife finally told me about it, I replaced the rear turn signal bulb on the driver's side. Worked fine for a few weeks, then started blinkin fast again. So I switched the bulb again, same problem. I swapped the front 2 bulb sockets and the back 2 as well, still same problem. I checked the voltage on the back turn signal, am only getting 5-7 volts. I also disconnected the trailer lights, cause it was a little corrodide. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

Sounds like you def have a high resistance thru a connection. How does the connector for the turn light look? Corroded/rusty connection could easily drop you that amount of voltage but should be getting a little warm if it is using up that much voltage. Getting the same voltage at both rear turns or just the left?

Voltage was good for the right side. Connectors looked fine. The trailer connector had a corroded pin in it, I disconnected it, but still had the problem. I think it is the electronic flasher module, so I ordered one of the internet with the Ford part number, since I couldn't find it with the mazda part number. I'll let ya know if it works or not. Thanks.

Thanks Simeron for the update and would like to hear back about if the flasher module is the problem.
