1988 323 weak spark at coil

Could someone please help me.. 1988 323 1600cc. the car died.. wiil turn over...voltage to the coil primary @ 12vdc but a weak spark from the tower to ground. HT lead is OK, Coil reads 14kohms. Any other places to look for weak spark problem?? any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Doug.
