03 B-2300 flashing air bag light - code 47

I have an 03 B-2300 and the air bag light sometimes flashes a code 47 and sometimes is doesn't...  Since I know the code the dealership still wants to charge me to ck it out to tell me what the code means...  Can anyone help point me in the right direction...   Thanks...

how did you check the code?

I would assume that since the air bag light flashes 4 times then 7 times that would be a code 47...  and it does this repeatedly for about 5 times then the light stays on...

i thought you would have to use a scanner to check codes, esp. on a obd2 car. maybe thats why they want you to bring it in, and even if you did know what the code ment, you would still need their info on how to diag. it
